Reunion 2005
The
Black Mountain / Kenvir
Reunion was another huge success. We estimate around 500
present.
After viewing our guest book as well as looking over the many pictures
taken, we know that a lot missed signing our guest book, we use the
guest book to help determine a head count. We know that the
thought
of getting stranded away from home (with the gas scare) kept a
lot of
folks from traveling this year.
We
had a good old down-home dinner; Soup Beans, Fried
Potatoes, Cornbread, Macaroni & Tomatoes, Fresh Green Beans, Baked
Beans, Kraut & Sausages, Big Slices of Baked Ham, Fried
Chicken,
Meat Loaf and much more that I can't remember right now......AND just
about any kind of dessert you might want. Oh yeah, I almost forgot,
there was 2-jars of home made Chow Chow. Thanks to Judy (Burns)
Shipes
who donated 200-hot dogs (grilled by my husband Mike), also hot dog
chili made by Glenda Hamblin.--- Debra Petra
